I am so grateful for Dr. Claire Heinlein. After decades of hearing difficulties that confounded me and others, it was life-changing to be diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). After discussing the characteristics of HOW I hear, Dr. Heinlein called it correctly, without testing. I wanted the testing anyway, and an actual diagnosis on paper if I fit the criteria. After getting almost 90 minutes of hearing tests of a nature that I’ve never had before, Dr. Heinlein said absolutely I have APD. It felt dumb to want to jump for joy at those words, but that is indeed how I felt to FINALLY have an answer that FULLY fit my hearing problems! If you experience “dropped” words in conversation, if you “replay” others words in your head to “get” the words and then end up behind in the conversations, look up Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), and then go see Dr. Heinlein (and her awesome assistant, Kiley!) and see if you too might have APD. Truly life changing.

Dr. Heinlein’s compassion to help my mother with her hearing challenges and her knowledge of the new and advanced hearing devices helped my mother to choose a pair of good and comfortable hearing aids.
