Great place. They helped me hear again.
First time meeting Dr. Stanley, oh gosh he is such amazing! He knows some signs and he knows That we need to read lips and he makes sure we understand everything and explain. He could be greedy and care about money but he didn’t. He wanted to make sure which hearing aid was for me, and explain about future cochlear implants. I try not to cry in office front of him like he lift my burden that I’m struggling to hear with my POS hearing aid in other audiologist offices. Oh and also he is listening very carefully and doing what is best for us. Im so glad that my wife and I came right place and talk to him and he shows options for us. We can’t wait for a new hearing aid to come! If you are deaf or hard of hearing and know sign, you are come right place and ask for Dr. Stanley he knows to sign some and you won’t regret meeting him. (PS Thank you Dr. Stanley for being my “counselor” lol ur best)
I am VERY thankful for Dr. Dawn Bledsoe and Dr. Jamie Pierre! Obtaining an accurate Auditory Processing Disorder diagnosis has significantly altered my daughter’s life path in an incredibly positive way! It is sad what conclusions uninformed psychologists can come to because they are uneducated in APD. I was told that my child had a low IQ by one, and told by the school one that the low auditory scores on her eval were because “people with cognitive issues sometimes have auditory issues.” APD is an insidious disorder because it can be overlooked and/or mistaken for other things. The kids can obviously hear but still say “What?” constantly. The forgetfulness or lack of comprehension can look like other things. The once cute little mispronunciations from when they were little continue when they are old enough that they should be pronouncing the word properly. Lol, it sure took some convincing to make my daughter believe that Jeep is how it’s said, not Jeef because she’s always heard it that way. Unfortunately, not many people who are supposed to be child experts within the education system or outside it even seem to understand APD. Some audiologists aren’t even trained to test for it. Except for this practice, I have yet to come across someone who knows what APD is and how to approach the difficulties that come with it. You are in good hands with this practice! My supposed low IQ child is in 5th grade, and her most recent common assessments indicate that her scores in math are equivalent to 6th grade, reading to 8th, and science coming in at gifted level, equivalent to 10th grade. The math assessment is a huge win. Before treatment for APD, my daughter couldn’t even remember what they talked about in math that day, let alone remember the multiple steps to solve math problems. I honestly start to cry when I think of how thankful I am that they have given my daughter the treatment she needs.
Great bedside manner and patience.
My experience here was amazing, I got my hearing aid though UHC. My new hearing aids are set perfect for what I needed. The Dr. was super friendly and showed me about the devices. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience! Dr. Heinlein was so personable and professional. I had an updated audiogram, as well as recalibration of my Widex hearing aids, and I can hear so much better. I initially thought my hearing had deteriorated from 3 years ago, but that was not the case. Dr. Heinlein was reassuring, and she recommended custom earpieces to eliminate outside noise…I can’t wait for those to come in. Thank you, Dr. Heinlein! Catherine was her usual cheerful and efficient self!!
I took a family member in to get a hearing test/exam this month and the staff (Leah and Stephanie) were extremely nice and professional and just amazing! We were blown away by their service and appreciated all the additional information and resources given. The office was also very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend going to Associates of Audiology if you or family are in need of hearing aids/services.
Amazing and friendlystaff…Highly recommend Mrs.Washington. From start to finish she was very thorough with the process. My grandmother is very thankful for finally get her hearing aids…Thanks again
Thank you Dr. Bledsoe for your professional check-up and Iliana for great customer service!
The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and caring. They have diagnosed what others failed to see and now our daughter is truly “hearing” without distortion.
